IBTA European Championships 2025 – Live Streaming from 4 Courts in Kozerki

From October 12–18, 2025, at the Tenis Kozerki Tennis Academy near Warsaw, the 2025 IBTA European Championships in Blind Tennis took place – the largest European tennis event for visually impaired athletes. The tournament was organized by the Widzimy Inaczej Foundation in cooperation with the Polish Tennis Association and the International Blind Tennis Association (IBTA). Athletes from 11 countries competed: Finland, France, Spain, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Germany, Ukraine, Great Britain, Italy, and Poland.

Throughout the entire week – Monday through Sunday – we had the honor of conducting live streams from four courts simultaneously on behalf of the Widzimy Inaczej Foundation. This was one of the largest and most technically demanding undertakings in our history: four commentators, four independent streams, hundreds of matches, and countless moments of excitement. Blind tennis captivates the viewer in an extraordinary way – players move around the court guided solely by the sound of their rattle ball. Watching this live (and streaming it!) makes a tremendous impression.

Poland finished the championships with an impressive haul of 11 medals (3 gold, 4 silver, 4 bronze). Magdalena Giecewicz claimed the top podium position twice – gold in B1 singles and in mixed doubles with Rafał Sudoł. Katarzyna Antczak also won gold in the B4 women’s category. Silver medals: Katarzyna Pietruszyńska (B2), Aleksandra Karakula (B3), Michał Stypa (B3), Kamilla Malak/Michał Stypa (B3 mixed) and Katarzyna Antczak/Jarosław Skarżyński (B4 mixed). Bronze: Kamilla Malak (B3), Mateusz Balwierz (B4) and Aleksandra Karakula/Damian Hortecki (B3 mixed).
