Rakiety ATNiS in Giebułtów – four courts and blindtennis.app

On 25–27 September 2026 in Giebułtów, the Widzimy Inaczej Foundation held the seventh Rakiety ATNiS. Vest Media ran one broadcast of all four courts, with scores and the schedule on blindtennis.app.

After Vilnius we came back to a smaller tournament. On 25–27 September 2026 in Giebułtów, near Kraków, the Widzimy Inaczej Foundation held the seventh National Blind Tennis Tournament Rakiety ATNiS. A compact event, four courts at the Tennis & Country Club. Here we went back to the usual setup: one broadcast, with all four courts in it.

The title card from the opening of the broadcast: Returnieje III, Rakiety ATNiS, the Widzimy Inaczej Foundation.

All four courts

After the separate streams in Vilnius, Giebułtów was one broadcast again. Play was on four courts, and all four were in that programme: the commentators changed court, or showed them together. The recordings are on the Widzimy Inaczej Foundation channel. Figures as of 5 October 2026:

  • opening, 25 September — 268 views
  • day 1, 26 September — 921 views
  • day 2, 27 September — 1,348 views

Together, 2,537 views. Day 2, the day of the finals, is below.

Day 1 and the opening are next to it, on the same channel.

The app people open at home

The same system that carried the world championships in August ran a national tournament in Giebułtów. Referees scored the matches in the app, and the results, schedule and draws appeared on blindtennis.app. The tournament database holds 79 finished matches, not counting test matches.

The visits show it. From 25 to 28 September the site gathered 3,346 pageviews and 287 sessions (Umami). On 26 September, the day of the group matches, there were 1,930 pageviews and 158 sessions; the next day, 1,042 pageviews and 119 sessions. Of the 287 sessions, 282 came from Poland and 275 from a phone. Next to the live view, the page people opened most often was the schedule — 743 pageviews. At a tournament of this size, that is the use we care about: a player or a fan in Poland checks on a phone who is playing, on which court, and what the score is.

The world championships showed that blindtennis.app can hold an international week. Giebułtów shows the other side: the same app stays with Polish players at a smaller event, without one tool for home and another for the world.

Who organised it

The tournament is part of the Returnieje III project, co-financed by the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON). It is coordinated by Paweł Chobot. The foundation invited people to the Tennis & Country Club at ul. Władysława Hermana 18: arrival and the draw on 25 September, group matches from 9:00 on 26 September, finals from 9:00 on 27 September and the medal ceremony at 16:00. The foundation’s announcement is at widzimyinaczej.org.pl.

Thank you to the Widzimy Inaczej Foundation, the referees and the players. See you at the next tournament — the Giebułtów results stay on blindtennis.app.
