We created a film documenting the finale of a student exchange programme at the picturesque Wyspa Koni horse stud farm. We met extraordinary people full of passion, commitment and creativity. The greatest challenge was capturing everything in a single take – because there were simply no second chances.
Ms Gosia, the organiser and soul of the entire venture – a project entitled “The Horse, Source of Noble Power” – reached out to Dawid. She called and asked whether Dawid could do something for her. Moments later we had arranged a preliminary shoot – material that would serve as documentation required for the realisation of the whole project.
We gathered our equipment, had a quick think and on Saturday caught the train from Legnica to Ostroszowice – a picturesque village at the foot of the Woliborska Pass. That is where one of the foundation’s bases is located.
We tried to show how noble an animal the horse is. We captured the beautiful choreography prepared by a dance school from Slovakia. We took part in the preparations for a fire show. We witnessed some very daring equestrian feats by a circus group.
