Blind Tennis Referee – Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy for Blind Tennis Referee

Last updated: February 24, 2026

Vest Media („we”, „us”, or „our”) operates the Blind Tennis Referee mobile application (the „App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Match Data: The App collects tennis match scores, player names, court numbers, and match statistics that you manually enter during umpiring. This data is necessary for the core functionality of live scoring.

Network Data: When connected to a tournament server, the App transmits match scores via API for live display on web dashboards. The server URL is configured by the tournament organizer.

No Personal Data: The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers. The App does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

2. How We Use Information

Match data entered by the umpire is used solely to:

  • Display live scores on the device screen
  • Synchronize scores to the tournament server (when connected)
  • Display match statistics during and after the match

3. Data Storage

Match data is stored locally on your device during active matches. When connected to a tournament server, scores are also stored on that server. We do not operate a centralized data collection service. Each tournament organizer manages their own server independently.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. Match scores are only transmitted to the tournament server configured by the umpire/organizer. No data is shared with advertising networks, analytics services, or any other external parties.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only network communication is with the tournament server configured by the user.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is designed for tennis umpires and tournament organizers. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Permissions

The App requires only Internet access permission to synchronize match scores with the tournament server. No other device permissions (camera, microphone, contacts, location, etc.) are requested or used.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
